Speech Language Pathologist in Englewood, CO

An exciting contract opportunity awaits Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) seeking a rewarding school-based assignment in the Denver area, with roles beginning January 7, 2026 and extending through May 28, 2027. This position offers a standard 37.5-hour workweek and the chance to impact students at different sites, focusing on dynamic caseloads and varied age groups.

Two SLP positions are available:

• One at a child development center, providing full-time support five days a week, covering for two staff leaves.
• The other splits time between two campuses, working 2.5 days per week at each site, also covering for staff leave.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct speech and language therapy services to students
• Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Assessing, diagnosing, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) for a diverse caseload
• Maintaining detailed documentation and timely progress reports
• Supporting compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with Speech Pathologist Endorsement required
• Previous experience in school-based SLP roles, or an SLPA role within school settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of best practices for pediatric speech-language pathology
• Capability to manage multiple sites and adapt to changing caseloads as needed
• Commitment to completing all necessary district background checks and fingerprinting processes
