Speech Language Pathologist in Englewood, FL

Make an impact supporting students’ communication needs as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant this upcoming school year. This engaging opportunity, based near Englewood, FL, runs from early August 2026 through June 2026. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide direct and consultative speech services for a caseload of roughly 60 students, collaborating with educators and family members to support growth and success.

Key Qualifications:

• Possess or be eligible for appropriate Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Florida
• Open to SLPs with CCC, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, and SLPAs with school-based experience
• Strong foundational skills in diagnostics, therapy planning, and delivering individualized and group interventions
• Attention to detail in maintaining progress notes, IEP documentation, and goal tracking
• Outstanding communication skills for interaction with students, caregivers, and educational staff
• Adaptable approach and the desire to work with diverse student populations and ages

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to assess and monitor speech-language needs
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies across the school environment
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings, providing input for educational planning
• Support parents and caregivers with resources, updates, and guidance on students’ progress
