Desired experience and skills:
• SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credential (active or eligible for Florida)
• Experience or special interest in working in K-12 school environments
• Knowledge of IEP development and documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and staff
• Proven commitment to evidence-based therapy and student growth
• Organizational skills to manage a caseload of around 60 students
Your primary responsibilities:
• Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver creative, goal-oriented interventions
• Monitor and report student progress
