Step into a rewarding opportunity working with early intervention students across Enola, Harrisburg, and Summerdale as a Speech-Language Pathologist. These multiple contract positions offer you the chance to make a lasting impact by supporting children’s communication and developmental needs in diverse educational environments. With full-time hours and a primarily in-person focus, you'll become a valued resource in providing speech and language services to young learners.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Pediatrics or school-based experience, particularly in early intervention, is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, support staff, and families
- Ability to work effectively and flexibly across multiple district locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy for children in early intervention programs, focusing on a range of communication needs
- Assess, evaluate, and document students’ progress using a variety of tools and data collection methods
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design comprehensive intervention plans
- Deliver therapy in a range of district settings, including elementary schools and early childhood centers
- Attend relevant IEP meetings and contribute to the creation and implementation of student goals
