Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school environment strongly favored
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Flexibility and adaptability for diverse school caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students, individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to monitor and report progress
- Offer guidance on communication strategies within the classroom and at home
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives
