A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP/SLP-CCC) to support students in a PreK caseload for the full school year. This role covers a .6 FTE schedule, with services delivered over three days weekly, perfect for professionals seeking a balanced, focused commitment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active licensure from the state relevant to practice in educational settings
- Experience supporting PreK/early childhood populations strongly preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset for working with families, educators, and relevant staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services tailored to PreK students’ needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain progress documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP development and review
- Consult with teachers and families to support students’ speech-language growth in the classroom and at home
- Monitor services and adjust interventions to promote goal attainment and student success
