Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evaluation and therapy techniques for a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare necessary reports
  • Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and parents, contributing to a supportive educational environment
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development
