Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting early learners and elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational environment near Erie, CO. This contract role offers full-time hours and spans the entire academic year, beginning in August and wrapping up in late May. Here, your expertise will make a direct impact on students from PreK through 5th grade across two welcoming school sites.

Ideal candidates bring strong knowledge of best practices in the school setting and are passionate about inclusive support for all students. Your day-to-day will include a balanced caseload of 50-55 students, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and families to help every child discover their voice.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Familiarity with early childhood and elementary populations a plus
  • Ability to conduct Child Find evaluations and write comprehensive reports
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students (PreK–5th) across two locations
  • Conduct evaluations, including Child Find, and contribute to eligibility decisions
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with teams and families
  • Collect data, document progress, and communicate effectively with staff and caregivers
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
