School Speech Language Pathologist - Escondido, California

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students in grades TK-5 with speech and language needs. Starting August 5, 2024, through June 12, 2025, this position provides consistent full-time hours (40 per week), with a workday of 7:30 AM to 2:15 PM, giving you the chance to impact young learners' growth during the school year.

With a caseload of 46, including Speech IEP and middle school SDC students requiring speech services, your expertise will be invaluable in shaping communication skills that are foundational for academic and social success. This environment values both experienced clinicians and those just starting their clinical fellowship.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current CA SLP licensure (CCC or CFY eligible highly desirable)
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
• Willingness to consider SLPAs if SLP is unavailable

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to TK-5 students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and generate reports
• Collaborate with educators and attend IEP meetings to develop and review student goals
• Document progress and provide insights for multidisciplinary teams
