Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Escondido, California

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• California state licensure or eligibility required
• Experience in a school setting is advantageous, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Preferred (not required): experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform screenings and assessments to determine speech, language, and communication needs
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services, either individually or in group settings
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to facilitate student progress
• Accurately document sessions, monitor student improvement, and participate in team meetings
