Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
- Current or eligible California state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Completion or current pursuit of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- School-based experience and familiarity with IEPs preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong background in pediatrics and augmentative & alternative communication (AAC) devices a plus
- For remote applicants: previous teletherapy experience is required
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans for each student
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to align strategies and maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough and organized documentation of sessions, progress, and communication
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions as needed
