Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY supervision available
- Active state licensure as required for speech therapy in educational settings
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy is highly desirable
- Excellent collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with school policies and federal guidelines
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote skill generalization and foster a supportive classroom atmosphere
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports for case management and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development
- Offer consultation and intervention strategies to support both in-class and pull-out services
