Make a difference supporting K–12 students by bringing your expertise in speech-language pathology to a vibrant educational setting in the Estero/Naples, FL area. This full-time or part-time contract role spans the school year from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027. As a valued Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll help students overcome communication barriers and thrive academically and socially.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP license (required)
- Experience working with K–12 student populations is highly preferred
- Familiarity with conducting both direct therapy services and comprehensive speech/language evaluations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a school-based caseload efficiently and work within multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting and credentialing requirements, including the acquisition of a JLA badge
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group speech therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade at one assigned school in Golden Gate City or Immokalee
- Perform thorough assessments and maintain up-to-date documentation for each student served
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective IEPs and support plans
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with all state and district guidelines
