A school near Estero, FL is searching for two dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to join their team for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is an on-site, contract opportunity serving one school location within Golden Gate City or Immokalee, working directly with students from kindergarten through high school.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the Florida Department of Health (SLP, FL DOH)
  • Previous experience within a school setting highly valued
  • Up-to-date fingerprint clearance required (candidates with prior Florida school districts screening may be eligible for transfer)
  • Ability to work on-site; telepractice/virtual services are not available for this position
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered support

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Engage in school-based meetings as needed to promote students’ educational success
