Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC certification (ASHA)
- Active or eligible licensure to practice speech-language pathology
- Experience in a school-based environment preferred, but open to new graduates with strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for working with children and adolescents with diverse needs
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services for students across various age groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and engagement
- Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Offer consultative support and resources to school staff and parents to foster inclusive learning environments
- Stay current with best practices and participate in relevant professional development
