Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP-CCC certification (ASHA)
  • Active or eligible licensure to practice speech-language pathology
  • Experience in a school-based environment preferred, but open to new graduates with strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Passion for working with children and adolescents with diverse needs

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal guidelines
  • Provide direct therapy services for students across various age groups
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and engagement
  • Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Offer consultative support and resources to school staff and parents to foster inclusive learning environments
  • Stay current with best practices and participate in relevant professional development
