Make a difference in the lives of young learners by supporting elementary students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity offers engaging work with a manageable caseload, flexibility in schedule planning, and direct access to collaborative educational teams.

Responsibilities include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, administering evaluations, collaborating with teachers and families to develop and implement IEPs, maintaining thorough documentation, and proactively contributing to a positive, supportive learning environment. You’ll split your time between two schools, allowing for variety while maintaining consistency with your students.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
  • School-based SLP experience desired, particularly with elementary-aged students
  • Proficient with therapy planning, delivery, and evaluation for a diverse caseload
  • Ability to organize and prioritize across two school sites and a caseload of approximately 65 students
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and track progress on individualized plans
  • Communicate regularly with educators and families
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with school policies
  • Plan and manage your own schedule between two school settings
