This contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a school setting located in Eugene, OR. The role involves delivering comprehensive evaluations and targeted therapy to support students with speech and language disorders, contributing to their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments for students presenting with various speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Provide engaging therapy sessions aligned with established speech and language goals
- Systematically monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure cohesive care
- Communicate and partner with families to foster involvement and understanding in the treatment process
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with students, families, and colleagues
- Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as a collaborative team member
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Oregon or eligibility to obtain such
