Your work week will be evenly split between two distinct learning environments: half at Westmoreland, specializing in special education, and half assisting student socialization at Lane schools. You’ll support about 33 students, collaborating with paraprofessionals and assistants onsite. While you’ll often work independently, you’re never alone—SLP team members provide ongoing virtual support and monthly in-person meetings ensure connectedness.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP–CCC credential and eligible for work in schools
• Experience with AAC and feeding/swallowing is a plus (training available)
• Passion for supporting students with life skills needs
• Adaptable and self-driven, with strong communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech/language and life skills support in a school setting
• Develop and implement IEPs and tailored treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, paraprofessionals, and other school staff
• Document progress and contribute to student growth
