Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills with pediatric populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and students
- Comfort utilizing technology for documentation and virtual meetings when needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across varied grade levels
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goals
- Conduct screenings and assessments, and document progress in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide guidance and resources to educators and families to support carryover of strategies in classroom and home environments
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation using school systems
