Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
  • Prior school-based experience is highly valued
  • Excellent communication and case management skills
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches and materials for diverse student populations
  • Commitment to positive, student-centered intervention

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations to identify speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in both group and individual formats
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social growth
  • Engage with families to discuss progress and provide resources
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings
