Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
- Prior school-based experience is highly valued
- Excellent communication and case management skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches and materials for diverse student populations
- Commitment to positive, student-centered intervention
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in both group and individual formats
- Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social growth
- Engage with families to discuss progress and provide resources
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
