Located near Evans, GA, the ideal applicant will provide evidence-based speech and language services on-site and help foster students’ growth in diverse educational settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathology license in Georgia
- GaPSC Educator Certification required
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Proficiency with evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation within a school-based environment
- Experience participating in IEP meetings and working with special education teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students based on their IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and school policies
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
- Stay current on best practices in school-based SLP services
This exciting school-based role runs through the end of May 2027, for 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. While on-site is preferred, additional options may be discussed for the right candidate.
