Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting high school students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This role involves working with a dedicated group of 30 students primarily with low incidence needs, ensuring tailored support in an engaging educational environment. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to facilitate students’ communication growth and empower their academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- Previous experience working in high school settings, preferably with low incidence populations
- Proven ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to high school-aged students, focusing on both group and individual sessions
- Assess, diagnose, and develop targeted intervention strategies for students with diverse needs on a low incidence caseload
- Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals where necessary
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and support IEP development
- Guide teachers and provide resources to enrich classroom communication approaches
- Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation for all student interactions
