School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Evanston, Illinois

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• Hold or eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Prior experience in school settings, preferably at the high school level
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and collaborate with educators, students, and families

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to high school students
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to support student learning goals
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Communicate with families regarding student progress and recommended strategies
• Participate in staff meetings and student support teams as needed
