Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Hold or eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in school settings, preferably at the high school level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and collaborate with educators, students, and families
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to high school students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to support student learning goals
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Communicate with families regarding student progress and recommended strategies
- Participate in staff meetings and student support teams as needed
