Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Evanston, IL area as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll make an impactful difference covering a maternity leave, guiding students' communication and social skills within a supportive school environment.

You’ll manage a manageable caseload of 15-20 students, providing direct services mainly to grades 5 through 8, with some K-4 involvement. This is an on-site assignment, starting August 17, 2026, and concluding November 27, 2026. Enjoy a flexible schedule, averaging 22 hours per week—ideal for those seeking part-time, in-person work within the school community. (While your schedule could be arranged as three full days per week, this position is not available to virtual providers.)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active SLP-CCC credential; Illinois license in good standing.
  • Experience working in K-8 educational settings.
  • Ability to address speech, language, and communication needs for diverse learners.
  • Strong collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy to a caseload of 15-20 students, primarily in grades 5-8.
  • Complete assessments, evaluations, and required documentation.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with school teams and parents to optimize student outcomes.
  • Participate in new staff training (schedule TBD).
