- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to complete CFY
- Experience in school-based settings, pediatrics, or healthcare environments
- Proficiency in delivering both in-person and virtual (teletherapy) speech services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning spaces
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Creating and delivering targeted therapy plans both on-site and via telepractice platforms
- Consulting with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive student care
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Educating and supporting teachers and caregivers to reinforce strategies for student growth
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing expertise for student planning
