Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Previous experience working in schools (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse student population
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals for students
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions on student needs
