Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Washington SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; will consider clinical fellows
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with applicable regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Engage in ongoing professional learning to remain current in best practices
