School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Everett, Washington

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for supporting secondary students and homebound learners. Step into this important position based in Issaquah, WA, serving a diverse group of students throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure and Department of Education certification as required
• Experience collaborating with educators, students, and families
• Strong understanding of AAC devices, including eye gaze technology
• Comfortable providing direct and consultative speech services in both traditional and alternative school settings
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Full-time hours, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (Mondays start at 8:30 am), during the school year until June 17, 2026
• Support students four days a week at a middle school; one day per week focused on homebound students (two elementary, two secondary)
• Deliver therapy services, assessments, and progress monitoring for a range of communication needs
• Mondays dedicated to working with homebound students and implementing AAC solutions, including eye gaze systems
• Tuesday through Friday dedicated to servicing middle school students
• Coordinate closely with current SLP for a seamless transition, with training and overlap available in February
• Foster positive communication with families and educational staff to maximize student success
