Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Ewa Beach, HI

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication disorders
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and team members
• Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to varied caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy both in-person and through teletherapy modalities
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Engage in case conferences, IEP meetings, and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Educate and support families and school staff regarding intervention strategies
