School Speech Language Pathologist - Fairchild Air Force Base, WA

This contract opportunity extends through June 16th and offers the chance to work with a diverse population, including general education and specialized Autism/IDD classrooms. You'll enjoy a supportive atmosphere working alongside two experienced SLP colleagues, with access to three preschool classrooms and a building that serves nearly 600 students.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (for SLP applicants)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY candidates welcome
• SLPA candidates must have relevant licensure and/or registration
• Experience working with school-aged children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder or intellectual disabilities, is a plus
• Strong collaboration skills for teaming with educators, parents, and other clinicians
• Competency in individualized evaluation, therapy planning, and assessment
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and practices an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language services to elementary and preschool students, both in traditional and specialized settings
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and individualized therapy to address communication goals
• Collaborate with teaching staff, special education professionals, and families to foster student success
• Contribute to IEP planning and implementation
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state, district, and federal requirements
• Provide consultation and training to staff and caregivers as needed
