Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Virginia
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Experience providing speech-language services in schools, pediatrics, healthcare, or via teletherapy is highly valued
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop, and carry out individualized education plans (IEPs) for K-12 students
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored for students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking for each student
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
  • Offer support, resources, and consultation to school staff regarding speech and language concerns
