Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience working in schools or pediatric environments is highly desired
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation standards
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students, identifying areas of need and recommending appropriate interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support integrated classroom strategies
  • Document student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal-setting and progress evaluations
  • Provide consultation and support to families and caregivers regarding students’ communication needs
