Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or working toward completion of Clinical Fellowship
  • Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Ability to administer and interpret a variety of speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Conduct therapy sessions in individual and group formats, adapting approaches to student needs
  • Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with other school staff to support student engagement and academic achievement
  • Provide resources and guidance to educators and families to facilitate generalization of skills
