School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Fairfax, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Virginia
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred; opportunities also available for Clinical Fellows (CFYs)
• Minimum of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Prior school-based SLP experience or a strong interest in supporting school-aged children
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative abilities
• Availability for onsite work only

Responsibilities:

• Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and adhere to all district and state guidelines
• Partner closely with educators, families, and administrators to create supportive learning environments
• Support the speech and language development of students in both group and individual settings

Schedule Details:

• Contract runs from August 17th, 2026, to June 12th, 2027
• Full-time, 35 hours per week (seven-hour school days)
