Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fairfax, VA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Virginia SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) also considered
• Previous experience in school-based speech therapy is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ready to work full-time onsite—remote work is not available for this assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of students in compliance with IEPs and school protocols
• Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Implement evidence-based interventions and creative strategies to help students thrive
