Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Virginia SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) also considered
- Previous experience in school-based speech therapy is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ready to work full-time onsite—remote work is not available for this assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of students in compliance with IEPs and school protocols
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Implement evidence-based interventions and creative strategies to help students thrive
