School Speech Language Pathologist - Fairfax, Virginia

You’ll work collaboratively with dedicated school staff to deliver evidence-based services and help each student reach their communication goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license (or eligibility) in the state of Virginia
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other professionals to support student success
• Conduct therapy sessions, track progress, and maintain all required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and help families understand strategies and outcomes
• Engage in professional development opportunities as they arise
