You’ll work collaboratively with dedicated school staff to deliver evidence-based services and help each student reach their communication goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) in the state of Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other professionals to support student success
- Conduct therapy sessions, track progress, and maintain all required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and help families understand strategies and outcomes
- Engage in professional development opportunities as they arise
