Take your speech-language pathology practice to the next level by supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Fairfield, CA. Multiple full-time and part-time contract roles are available, each offering the chance to make a meaningful difference with a diverse student population. While in-person service is preferred, select positions may consider virtual (VOCO) candidates if not strictly designated as on-site.

Role Options—Please specify your position preference (a–f) in your application:

  • (a) 1.0 FTE (In-person, one site): Serve two Special Day Classes, focusing on high school and post-secondary students with intensive to mild-moderate needs.
  • (b) 1.0 FTE (In-person, two sites): Split your expertise between a middle school Special Day Class (0.6 FTE, intensive/mild-mod) and Transitional Kindergarten (0.4 FTE, special day class).
  • (c) 1.0 FTE (one site): Work with TK–5th grade students, no Special Day Classes involved.
  • (d) 1.0 FTE (In-person, two sites): Support a Mild/Moderate TK–5 program (0.6 FTE) and a Middle School Intensive/Mild Mod group (0.4 FTE).
  • (e) 1.0 FTE (three sites): Engage across the spectrum with 0.5 FTE [TK–8], 0.2 FTE [TK–8], and 0.3 FTE [TK–5], with no Special Day Classes.
  • (f) 0.5 FTE (three sites): This part-time option includes 0.2 FTE at the high school level, 0.2 FTE at the elementary level, and 0.1 FTE supporting elementary mild/mod students.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Speech-Language Pathologist credential/CCC and appropriate state licensure required.
  • Experience or interest in educational settings (Special Day Classes, mild/moderate to intensive needs).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Adaptability for multi-site or single-site placements, as described above.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, direct therapy, and consultative supports to students.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress.
  • Maintain compliance with IEP documentation and reporting.
