Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it within the required timeframe
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational abilities and a flexible approach to daily responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a diverse student population
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct therapy services, adapting strategies to meet each learner’s unique needs
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility determinations, and support families through effective communication
• Deliver training and consultation to teachers, staff, and caregivers regarding communication strategies and accommodations within the classroom environment
• Stay current on best practices and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
