Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fairfield, IA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or clinical setting
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to students both individually and in small groups
• Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and collaboration with fellow educational professionals
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and caregivers regarding speech and language strategies in the classroom
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education as required
