Qualifications:

  • Current, valid license to practice as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure in AL)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • At least one year of experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Ability to evaluate, plan, and implement effective therapy programs for students
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultation services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists for holistic student support
