Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP license for New York state
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience with elementary-level students a plus
  • Skills in school-based, pediatric, and teletherapy SLP services
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support each student’s success
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support the district’s mission by delivering exceptional therapeutic interventions
