Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid license to practice as an SLP in New York
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
  • Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in elementary school settings
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy, teletherapy, and relevant healthcare protocols
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills

Core Duties:

  • Conducting evaluations, screenings, and developing treatment plans for elementary students
  • Providing direct therapy services (individual and group sessions) for students with speech-language and communication needs
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student progress
  • Maintaining accurate records, preparing progress reports, and contributing to IEP meetings
  • Engaging in a team approach to create the best outcomes for students
  • Participating in professional development and school-wide initiatives as needed
