We are searching for two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve a school community near Fairport, NY, for a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.
Ideal candidates will hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be a Clinical Fellow (CFY) ready for hands-on school-based experience. This position allows you to provide vital speech therapy services while collaborating with educators and families to enhance student outcomes.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility) required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly desired; strong CFY candidates also welcome
- Previous experience providing services in a K-12 setting preferred
- Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing and evaluating students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Developing personalized therapy plans and tracking student progress
- Working collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing documentation as needed
- Delivering direct and consultative services to support student success
