Skills and experience in school-based speech-language pathology, pediatric settings, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or healthcare SLP are highly encouraged, as you’ll work hands-on with a diverse student population, helping them communicate more effectively and thrive in their educational journey.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC-SLP or CFY considered
- Experience with K-12 students in schools or pediatric healthcare settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, staff, and parents
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, tailoring interventions to their unique learning goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the student support team
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress assessments
- Maintain thorough documentation and accurate records as required
- Participate in meetings and consult with educators and families to support student success
