Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fall River, MA

Candidates should have at least two to three years of post-ASHA certification experience and a passion for making a difference in a school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• ASHA SLP certification with a minimum of 2-3 years of post-certification experience
• Experience working with students in a school environment
• Confidence supervising SLP Assistants (SLPAs), including oversight, support, and data review
• Strong background conducting special education eligibility evaluations (including initials and re-evaluations)
• Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations at IEP meetings (initials, re-evals, annuals)
• Organized and detail-oriented in managing IEP documentation, reporting, and progress monitoring
• Willingness to adapt to changing caseloads based on school enrollment and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students on caseload
• Complete comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and eligibility assessments for special education
• Supervise and mentor SLPAs, ensuring high-quality intervention and accurate documentation
• Develop, update, and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for assigned students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to foster student success
• Collect and analyze treatment data, preparing progress reports as required
• Engage actively in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and contributing to well-informed educational planning
