Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade for the 26/27 school year. Elementary school hours are slightly shorter than the main school day of 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM, allowing for work-life balance.
You’ll work closely with a dedicated team to provide vital speech and language services. For candidates credentialed as an SLPA, a similar caseload is available—primarily elementary-aged students—under direct supervision of the lead SLP.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active state licensure as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA (in-person).
- Experience in school-based settings preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families.
- Solid understanding of IEP development and the evaluation process.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 15-20 students across Pre-K to 12th grade.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students presenting a range of communication disorders.
- Maintain accurate documentation for progress monitoring and compliance with special education requirements.
- Work collaboratively to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
- For SLPA positions, carry out therapy interventions under the guidance and supervision of an SLP.
