This full-time, contract opportunity is for an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. You’ll play an important part in helping students thrive, using your expertise in the school environment to make a real and lasting impact. With a focus on in-person services, you’ll be working directly with children and collaborating with a dedicated educational team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid SLP licensure in West Virginia (or eligibility)
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and/or school-based settings
  • Comfort with full-time, on-site presence (remote/virtual not offered)
  • Ability to work professionally with students, staff, and families
  • SLPA applicants with school-based experience may be considered

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language intervention, evaluation, and assessment to students as identified on IEPs
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, progress reports, and planning
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to promote student success
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement strategies that enhance communication skills
  • Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
  • Offer support and guidance to SLPAs as appropriate in the educational setting
