Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and schools in the vibrant communities of Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge. This engaging role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), ready to make a meaningful difference in education settings. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families, providing essential speech and language services throughout the school year.

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: August 17th, 2026 – June 12th, 2027
  • Schedule: 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day
  • Location: Assignment sites within Prince William County (Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Virginia SLP license required
  • CCC-SLP or eligible CFY candidates welcome
  • Experience in school-based settings is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to provide dynamic, student-centered therapy onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for student support
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training as needed
