Desired Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current, valid SLP licensure for practice in Virginia
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
• Previous experience providing speech and language services in school or pediatric clinic settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient, compassionate approach
• Comfortable collaborating with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptable to working with students across a range of ages and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and individualized therapy to address speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement evidence-based IEP goals for students
• Track progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Support school staff through consultation, training, and collaboration
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and strategies
• Maintain accurate paperwork and compliance with regulations and timelines
