Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEPs, assessments, and evidence-based intervention strategies
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver therapy sessions to address speech, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based goal planning
- Maintain accurate records of therapy, assessments, and student progress
- Provide training or guidance to school staff and caregivers as needed
- Stay current with professional best practices and continuing education
