Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year
- Previous experience providing speech therapy in schools is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Skilled at conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Commitment to an onsite presence in assigned locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of school-aged students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Conduct thorough assessments and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings as needed
Position Offers:
- Full-time, school-based schedule: 35 hours per week, seven hours per day, aligned with the academic calendar (August 17, 2026 through June 12, 2027)
