Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students and staff as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for a 12-week maternity leave coverage near Farmington, MI. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Experience delivering speech and language services in school environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services to a diverse K-12 population
- Assess, diagnose, and write comprehensive evaluations in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
- Maintain timely, accurate records of sessions, progress, and administrative paperwork
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success
- Ensure continuity of care throughout the duration of the contract
