This contract position, with a standard 40-hour workweek across five days, is designed for those who thrive in collaborative, student-focused settings.

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Current certification as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate
  • CFY and CCC credentials considered
  • Experience in teletherapy and school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
  • Strong skills in Medicaid billing documentation
  • Ability to provide services both in-person and via telepractice when required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 55 students, spanning various ages and needs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and administer standardized assessments
  • Participate actively in team meetings to support students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and Medicaid billing reports for all services rendered
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic support
  • Prepare formal reports detailing progress and recommendations for each student
