This contract position, with a standard 40-hour workweek across five days, is designed for those who thrive in collaborative, student-focused settings.
Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:
- Current certification as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist
- Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate
- CFY and CCC credentials considered
- Experience in teletherapy and school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Strong skills in Medicaid billing documentation
- Ability to provide services both in-person and via telepractice when required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 55 students, spanning various ages and needs
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and administer standardized assessments
- Participate actively in team meetings to support students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and Medicaid billing reports for all services rendered
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic support
- Prepare formal reports detailing progress and recommendations for each student
