A vibrant district near Fayetteville, NC, is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, contract opportunity working with K-12 students. This assignment runs from late November through early June, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact during the academic year.
You'll become part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team where your expertise is valued and your growth supported. Both experienced clinicians and new graduates with clinical fellow eligibility are encouraged to apply—supervision is provided for Clinical Fellows to help you succeed at every step of your career.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility pending)
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, or Speech and Language Pathology
- Experience with K-12 caseloads preferred, but not required
- Passion for helping students achieve their communication goals
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain case records, and participate in team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Contribute actively to a positive and inclusive school culture
