As a vital member of the educational team, you’ll provide critical speech and language services that empower students to achieve their fullest academic and personal potential throughout the school year.
This role spans the 2026-2027 academic year (August 13, 2025 - May 27, 2027), offering a consistent, full-time Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours weekly. Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required; consideration given to out-of-state licensed clinicians able to obtain NC licensure by June or July
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school-based setting (elementary, middle, and high school preferred)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable with various service delivery models, including teletherapy (for Voco SLPs)
- Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and shifting priorities in a dynamic educational atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in a school-based setting
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and IEP records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Engage actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
