Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active SLP license in the state of New York (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Strong background in pediatric care, preferably in a school environment.
  • Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a diverse school-aged population.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists.
  • Deliver therapy services directly to students through both traditional and virtual methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Educate staff and families on supportive strategies and communication goals.
  • Remain up-to-date on best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology and adhere to school and state guidelines.
