Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in an educational setting near Federal Way, WA. We are seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, SLP-CCC) to provide coverage for two maternity leaves within a school environment. Your expertise will help students reach their potential, collaborating closely with educators, families, and a dedicated support team.

There are two unique assignments available:

  • Full-time position from September 4th through January 31st
  • Part-time assignment (2 days per week), available to start immediately and continuing through the end of the current school year

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Washington State SLP license and ASHA CCC required
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to engage with diverse student populations
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and success

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP development
  • Provide direct therapy to students and consult with teachers and families
  • Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and progress reviews
  • Adapt services to meet varied student needs within the school environment
