Desired qualifications and skills:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active SLP license in Washington state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, generating IEP goals, and providing direct therapy
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and students
  • Ability to manage time efficiently across various caseloads and documentation responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Delivering direct therapy services to students with a range of speech and language needs
  • Consulting with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate records of treatment, progress, and required reports
