Speech Language Pathologist in Federal Way, WA

Step into a dynamic role supporting students’ communication and language development through two immediate openings for school-based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) near Federal Way, WA. These contract positions offer unique opportunities to make an impact while covering maternity leaves within a collaborative educational environment.

Assignment Details:

• First position is full-time, covering September 4th through January 31st.
• Second position is part-time (2 days per week), beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Valid Washington state SLP licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Prior experience working in school settings strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Provide support across a range of communication challenges within a diverse student population
